What Does a Sales Development Representative Do?

A Sales Development Representative (SDR) is tasked with creating new business opportunities through proactive outreach. They leverage different communication methods to connect with potential clients and assess their suitability as leads for the sales team.

SDRs collaborate closely with the marketing department to produce high-quality leads that match the ideal customer profile. They also develop and maintain a pipeline of these leads, which are then handed over to the sales team for deal closure.
