Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities
- Cultivate a positive organizational culture by developing employee recognition schemes, conducting engagement surveys, or planning activities that enhance retention and morale.
- Organize educational sessions or workshops to improve the Learning & Development initiatives.
- Supervise the complete recruiting process, which includes creating job advertisements, evaluating candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Help employees navigate the benefits enrollment process and assist with the management of benefits programs as necessary.
- Support employee relations by carrying out investigations and participating in conflict resolution when needed.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators and trends to provide the leadership team with actionable data insights.
- Keep current with changes in employment laws and regulations that affect the organization and offer advice on maintaining compliance.
- Oversee the onboarding of new employees and manage the process for those leaving the company.
Human Resources Generalist Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum of two years working as an HR Generalist.
- Proven expertise in managing employee relations, recruiting talent, and administering employee benefits.
- Strong abilities in research, analysis, and resolving complex issues.
- Applicable HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
- Evident technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite, HR Information Systems (HRIS), and payroll software.
